The Clinical Laboratory Department performs state-of-the-art medical analyses in the fields of
• Clinical Chemistry
• Haematology
• Clinical Immunology
• Serology
• Medical Microbiology
• Genetics | | | We are mainly engaged in three areas of activities:
• Internal Lab: Medical analysis of blood and urine samples from healthy volunteers before, during and at the end of the phase I clinical trials performed in I.P.A.S.
• External Lab: We plan to offer a large pallet of medical analyses to physicians and other institutions of the health system in the area.
• Central Lab: We operate as a central laboratory for special medical analyses of samples from phase III and IV clinical trials. | |  | | | | Our clinical laboratories are equipped with modern fully automated analysers performing ISE (Ion Selective Electrode) tests, photometric tests, immunotrubidometric tests, chemiluminescence immunoassays, micro particle immunoassays, coagulation tests and flow cytometry. Other methods used are AAS, HPLC, PCR and electrophoresis. |
